The sparkling wine »Schwarze Linie« Riesling brut nature, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Egert has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
There are aromas of citrus fruit and yeast on the nose, along with bergamot, a hint of lavender, and with aeration some spiciness and minerality. On the palate there is a fine and fresh mousse, and a lively acidity. It is not excessively bitter despite being a Brut Nature, rather it is juicy and long.
