The white wine Erbacher Steinmorgen, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Egert has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Slate savouriness on the nose, rock, warm smoke paired with subtle fruit, ripe apricot, Mirabelle plums, peach, pineapple and lemon zest. On the palate, fresh acidity with a good pull that absorbs the sweetness of the fruit and draws it out. Lemons, apricots – a distinctly tart finish, with quince juice, salted lemon and interesting. A successful Kabi.
