The sparkling wine »Sophie«, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Egert has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Disgorged in January 2025. Green and yellow apple on the nose, pear, tangerine peel, beautiful savouriness, yeast pastries. On the palate it shows with a pithy acidity that is very well integrated into the powerful substance and provides drive and length, fine mousse, mineral notes also mingle in the savoury finish.
