The red wine »Servator« trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Cedar wood and balsamic notes mix with ripe cherries, baked tomatoes and a hint of oregano on the nose. Juicy on the palate with fine-grained tannins and an animating acidity. Dark fruit notes and a hint of cloves build towards the long finish. Superbly grown-up, with elegant drinking flow.
