The red wine »Servator« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The savoury nose seems "cool" and sinewy, aromas of menthol and peppermint, dried meat, cranberry and cherry cordial are evident. In the mouth the wine shows a good-natured form of astringency, tannins dominate but they are not harsh or dry. Has potential!
