The red wine Altor, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Chocolate and mint, malt, some cherry. On the palate a certain fullness, smoothly grounded, light fruit, round and full, an accessible style with tannins that increase in graininess on the palate, finishes compact and dense, on substance with still closed aromas.
