The white wine »vom roten Schiefer« Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Forster has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Ripe stone fruit, peach with passion fruit and papaya, also some mace. Despite the ripe nose, it has surprisingly low alcohol on the palate, plenty of slender substance and is juicy, with ripe acidity, floral hints and slatey savouriness on the finish.
