The red wine Cuvée d´Or, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Franz Schindler has been rated in 2018 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, light brightening on the rim. Smoky, savoury with dark, ripe wild berries confit in the background, dark chocolate and liquorice. Complex, taut texture, ripe tannins, blackberry confit and sweet cherries, nougat on the finish, good ageing potential.
