The red wine Cuvée d´Or, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Franz Schindler has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a touch of rim brightening. Inviting aromas of black cherries and dark nougat on the nose, along with a hint of wild strawberries, making for a multi-layered bouquet. Juicy and elegant on the palate with a fine, tight-knit tannic structure and spicy-mineral accents. A hint of cassis echoes the nose. Certain ageing potential.
