The rosé »Rosé« Pinot Noir, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Becker has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Herbal and spicy notes on the nose, with wild berries, red cherry and also plum, blood orange, orange peel and subtle toasty aromas. The palate is tautly structured, with tight-knit extract, ripe, fleshy tannins, discretely rich and yet has good tension, a precise vein of acidity and an underlying chalky minerality, all very well integrated.
