The white wine Homburg Kallmuth Silvaner S Erste Lage trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Fürst Löwenstein has been rated in 2015 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Half fermented spontaneously in a 500-liter tonneau (second fermentation). Some yeast and an almost bacony note, a hint of spicy reduction, some creaminess despite moderate alcohol (only 12% by volume!). Intense tactile minerality, good nerve and density, aromatically still closed.
