Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Delicate hints of nougat, wood and caramel, dark berry fruit, black cherry and candied orange zest. Very powerful, tightly laced, ripe heart cherry, delicate hints of sloe, vivid, supporting tannins, mineral-salty in the pronounced fruit finish, beginning to open up, but should still be allowed to enjoy bottle rest.
