The blanc de noirs »Blanc de Noir« Frühburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Gehring has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Frühburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Cream colour. On the nose the wine shows yeasty, herbal, a note of warm brick, but also forest blueberry, white chocolate, multilayered. The palate is quite well built, silky, with firm acidity and comparatively vivid fruit, clearly mineral-tinged. Very high quality, combines drinking pleasure and accessibility with mineral depth.
