Tasting Notes
Amber in colour. Aroma of candied pineapple, herbs, some undergrowth, lots of spice, mature aromas. A lot of texture on the palate, matured with dignity, some tobacco, good concentration, preserved fruit, rather restrained acidity, individual, very good with a dessert.
More about the tastingAmber in colour. The nose smells of ice wine and pineapple, with a savoury tobacco and conifer wood edge along with chestnut and tree resin. The palate is classic Beerenauslese with good concentration and sweetness and a rather restrained acidity. Serve with food as it needs a sparring partner.
