The white wine Heitlinger Pinot Blanc Reserve, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Heitlinger has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
Ripe apricots, Mirabelle plums and orange blossom notes scream freshness on the nose. There's some floral almond and dried Linden blossom too. On the palate, subtle tannins and a slightly yeasty, salty minerality create a full-bodied profile with some extract sweetness on the finish that's reminiscent of an Alsatian style. Recommended with boudin noir with sauerkraut.
