The white wine »Sonnentropfen« Dürkheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Karl Schaefer has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose is somewhat sweet at first, then smoke and minerality, also crushed green leaves. On the palate, the tangy and crisp acidity is surprising, a clear and very straightforward minerality brings enormous grip and drinking flow, extremely juicy!
