Ripe fruit on the nose, cool and savoury at the same time. Flavours of violet, lemon zest, young apple and wet stone develop in the glass. Ripe fruit on the palate with a good texture and classic acidity profile. An attractive inner tension leads to a good finish.
More about the tastingThe nose is initially quite reductive, but also intensely terpenic and spicy. Grape, lily of the valley, candied lemon peel. The palate is taut and focused on minerality, with a pithy acid backbone and a tart, slightly phenolic finish. Dense and extract-driven, it needs ageing.
