The red wine Zweigelt Girmer, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut K+K Kirnbauer has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Burgenland in Austria.
It has a dark garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aromas of delicate nougat and caramel, black cherry, lovely blackberry confit, and a hint of herbal savouriness, it has a suggestive bouquet. It is juicy, with a sweet fruit texture, a well-integrated oaky savouriness, ripe fir, and sweet cherry and plum on the finish. It has reached its maturity, and still has a long way to go.
