The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Knewitz has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Be sure to decant sufficiently. Initially a strong new wood is still in the foreground, then pickled chamomile blossom, apple peel, vanilla pod, corn flakes, wormwood herb, cool smoke. Deeply built, very finely crafted, layered phenolics, finely interwoven, savoury minerality, great certain ageing potential.
