Tasting from 27.03.2026: Ulrich Sautter

A complex aroma at first opening: white chocolate, hazelnut, also some yeast, subtle roasted wood, almond paste. The palate begins smoothly, then quickly leads into a phenolic mid-palate. The tannins are a little dry, but are well integrated by the strong body and its soft complex. The finish brings the chalky minerality to the fore.
