Tasting Notes
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Delicate balsamic nuances of cassis on the nose, a hint of liquorice, delicate herbal savouriness, menthol. Powerful, extract sweetness, characterised by a demanding tannin that appears delicately angular, red berry nuances, delicate bitterness on the finish, salty, appears a little unbalanced at the moment despite its sweet fruit base, still needs time. Nevertheless, without doubt a monument to this early phase of the new Austrian red wine scene.
More about the tastingDark ruby garnet, deep core, youthful reflections. Delicately smoky dark berry confit on the nose, a hint of licorice, blackberry notes, very good bouquet. Full of finesse on the palate, red berry and animating, firm tannin structure, fine hints of citrus fruit, very good length, good ageing potential.
