Tasting Notes
Some apple, orange, elderberry and a hint of flint. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, with quite a strong body, but also a nice balance, a civilised acid nerve and a good structural length. The flavour is still young and closed, but will undoubtedly develop in a savoury direction.
More about the tastingA fruity aroma: red gooseberry, plump ripe nectarine, also some beeswax. On the palate, the Vienna is comparatively slender and less opulent than the aroma would suggest. The ripe acidity harmonises well with the medium-bodied structure, which is accompanied by good aromatic length.
