The red wine Lagrein Riserva Staves, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Kornell has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense, dark ruby red with a light purple rim. Elegant spicy nose, notes of plum, light cinnamon and cassis. Wonderfully balanced on the palate with great freshness and juiciness, opens on the mid-palate with juicy Amarena cherries, finishes slightly salty and very elegant.
