The red wine »Krone« Spätburgunder, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Krone Assmannshausen has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Almond, cranberry and dried cherry. Also herbal tones. The palate shows good extract, plenty of juiciness and a ripe acid nerve, above all mellow, grainy tannins in a quantity suitable for the future. Tobacco notes on the finish prove that this is not an easy-drinking wine.
