The red wine »Krone« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Krone Assmannshausen has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Raspberry spirit and almond on the nose, also rose hip tea. The palate has great balance, all components are ripe and in ideal proportion to each other. Mineral notes give the wine a sense of place, the tannin is grippy. A lot of Pinot for the money.
