Tasting Notes
The subtle use of wood does not mask the delicate (cherry) fruit. Subtle fruit with tones of wild raspberry and resinous aromas. The wine is creamy and sweet at the start, then dry tannins linger on the palate. Quite a plank - needs further ageing.
More about the tastingThe aroma of the wine is characterised by ripe, juicy cherry. There is also a playful lavender flavour. The nose is thoroughly slender and elegant. On the palate, its acidity is beautifully integrated and the tannins are soft. Not a Pinot that shouts loudly: I'm here!, but one with cool elegance.
