The red wine Cuvée Kardinal, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Kummer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet, violet tints, faintly lighter at the rim. Gentle floral nuances, hints of blackberries and elderberries, followed by a chocolatey touch, and a touch of dried figs. Complex, sweet roasted aromas, savoury tannins, black cherries marked by a soft hint of dark chocolate on the finish.
