Als "Piratenschatz" wurde unser Black Beard über mehrere Jahre im Lergenmüller'ischen Kellerverlies gehütet. Kräftig und edel stellt er sich im Vergleich mit den Giganten der sieben Weltmeere. Die Rotweincuvée aus Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot und Sankt Laurent präsentiert sich stolz, wuchtig, fruchtintensiv (Holunderbeere und Wildkirsche) und sehr kompakt. Ein starkes Tanningerüst verleiht dem Black Beard zudem interessantes Reifepotential.

Sun-kissed berry fruits, dark cherries, Rumtopf (rum pot), nougat chocolate, subtle pepper and cinnamon on the nose. Full-bodied on the palate with balanced power, fine-grained tannins and invigorating acidity. Refreshing, fruity and a companion to deeply flavoured stewed dishes. Warming on cold winter evenings.
