The white wine »Schiefer« Grauburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Marc Josten has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
As the name suggests, the wine is indeed slightly peppery and slate-spicy on the nose, with aromas of honeydew melon and apple. On the palate, the juicy, long-lasting acidity is impressive, incorporating light green tones and combining them with the mineral structure. A slender, "northern", concise varietal type.
