The white wine Sommerhausen Reifenstein Traminer feinherb, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Meier Schmidt has been rated in 2016 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Roter Veltliner, Gewürztraminer from the region Franconia in Germany.
It lives up to the claim of the variety and, as expected, smells of lychee, orange blossom, rose water and many more ornaments. There is no trace of modesty on the palate either, bitter substances fortunately wrest some of their sweetness from the opulence.
