Tasting Notes
Barrel 4 2020 Ahrweiler Daubhaus, found on a pile of rubble in Walporzheim, from a heating engineer who knows the family. On the nose, notes of almond, wild berries, slate, savoury hints, redcurrant and a touch of malt. Very juicy on the palate, mild tannin, medium bodied with medium extract and depth but with a nice pull towards elegance and good length.
