This has aromas of ripe apple, gooseberry and smoky notes on the nose. It is taut and firmly contoured on the palate, with good substance and structure. The power is well measured, and it is dry and natural without kitschy fruit flavours. It is still youthful with good potential, and always aimed at food accompaniment.
