The natural wine »Fumé« Grauburgunder, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Neiss has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Subtle blood orange colour. Fresh nose, also of blood orange, rosehip, pink grapefruit, pear, quince and a little smoke. On the palate with traction and tension, brisk acidity, citrusy and also salty connotations, pink grapefruit and lime juice support the freshness, medium density, fine phenolics. Unusual, fun to drink.
