The white wine Bockenheim Schlossberg Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Neiss has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Attractive combination of very fine use of wood and fruit harvested at the right time. Yellow apple, pineapple and bourbon vanilla. Also a hint of flint on the nose. Fine phenolics on the palate, ripe fruit, lots of juice thanks to good acidity with a long finish.
