The red wine »Zwölfstein« trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Notz has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Hohenhaslach
A slightly smoky wood note flanks savoury rather than fruity flavours, herbal notes, plum. The palate is tightly built, dense, with grainy, youthfully tense tannins with a tactile, mineral background and medium-strong fruit flavours. Very good certain ageing potential.
