The red wine Kirchberg Paradestück Reserve trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Notz has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Hohenhaslach
A very clear and well-developed aroma (although not yet fully developed): blackberry, elderberry, thyme, some new wood. The palate opens supple, soft, with a certain breadth, with a ripe tannin that is quite powerful and has been extracted in high density, but is also very well integrated into the supple base. A fine acidity underlines the fruit, the wine finishes with very good length, but still closed.
