The white wine »Tradition 1720« Viognier, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Moselle in Germany.
A fully developed aroma: subtle wood, yeast savouriness and flint, orange peel. The palate shows a juicy-fresh, pithy, bundled wine, freshness and tension are flawless, a hint of sweetness only just supports the pithy structure without appearing isolated. The flavour is still rather restrained - it has not yet reached the end of its journey.
