The sekt Viognier Brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Moselle in Germany.
A fresh, citrusy and yellow-fruity nose emerges from the glass, apricot, accompanied by delicate yeasty notes and bread crust. In the mouth, the wine emphasises both sweetness and acidity, the mousse is fresh and fine, the finish has good length and once again brings varietal fruit and savouriness to the fore.
