Tasting Notes
Floral, with blackcurrant, apple, and a trace of wood. Rich in tension, it vibrates with a quiet minerality. It is unaffectedly dry and all of a piece, and is almost astringent in core and substance. On the finish it is peppery and smoky, with the gentle phenolics for a long life.
More about the tastingLeafy green and citrusy. Enormous tension on the palate, juicy acidity and tactile minerality. A hunk of wine, monolithic at the moment, the wood influence is completely pushed back by the extract and it is punchy with seamlessly integrated alcohol. Immensely fine with pronounced acidity.
