Tasting from 01.10.2021: Ulrich Sautter

Cream coloured with a light bronze shimmer. Expressive on the nose, a fresh varietal aroma, very clear, blueberry, a hint of honeydew melon, sesame, the large wooden barrel hovers over the aromas. The palate is dominated by mealy phenolics, with some volume behind them, including slightly oily components, ripe acidity, the warm year has been transformed into opulence and has the best prospects of developing into a spicy and round wine.
