The white wine «Chasselas **SR** Alte Rebe« trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Rieger has been rated in 2018 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
Planted in 1976, it has a grapey aroma, a hint of apple, good density on the palate, a firm structure with a pithy acid backbone, a delicate layer of ripe phenolics and a smooth texture that is waiting to gain more and more presence as it matures in the bottle.
