The white wine »1. Lage« Escherndorf Lump Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Römmert has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
The oak barrel ageing still shows in the aroma, some wood savouriness, vanilla, pear, quince peel, yellow apple. Lean and tightly built on the palate with good tension, salty minerality, stable acidity, grippy phenolics in the aftertaste, bone-dry, shows character.
