The red wine »G« Heller Berg Spätburgunder, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Roth has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Franconia in Germany.
Besides cherry, blackberry and currant, fine earthy notes on the nose, wet autumn leaves, even a hint of black truffle. Unpretentious on the palate, with a superb balance of substance, structure and freshness, which is harmonised by the vivid, delicate acidity. The grippy tannins provide support, mineral savouriness, dark chocolate and blackberry introduce the finish. .
