Intense and savoury nose with ripe blackberries, blackcurrants, neat wood notes and a pinch of vanilla. Shows good substance and fullness on a soft base in a powerful structure, the vivid acidity provides life and balance, the tannins are fine-grained, slightly astringent, some morello cherry, good length. .
