The white wine »Dreck&Speck« Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Sankt Annaberg has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Anyone who charges €27 for a cuvée called "Dreck & Speck" knows why. Here there is little fruit on the nose at first, but anise and caraway. On the palate, there is lots of elegant substance, cinnamon, lemon zest, juice, brilliantly risen like a phoenix from the dirt. The risk was worth it.
