The natural wine »Fuchs« Nierstein Hipping Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schätzel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A slightly cloudy medium golden yellow in colour. The nose is redolent of pickled apple skin, dried apricot and herbs with some saffron accents in particular. The "Fuchs" shows a compact structure, good drive and juicy suppleness, supported by fine phenolics. It's profile is built on a deep minerality.
