Deep, dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections, subtly brighter at the rim. Sweet spices, cardamom, vanilla, nougat and a hint of black olives underlaid with ripe plum and blackberry. Powerful and full-bodied, with black fruit and ripe, supporting tannins, the wine is mineral and has some dark nougat on the finish. Shows length on the herbal-spicy finish. Versatile.
