The white wine Kloster Heilig Kreuz Riesling Auslese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schloss Proschwitz – Prinz zur Lippe has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Saxony in Germany.
Clear, rich yellow. On the nose fine dried fruits, apricot, quince, blossom honey, pineapple. On the palate smoke, undergrowth, minerality, ripe citrus fruit and grippy acidity. Not so much sweetness for an Auslese, good structure. Ideal with spicy dishes.
