The rosé wine »Achtzehnnullsechs« Mecklenburg trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Schloss Rattey has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Regent, Cabernet Cortis from the region Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Germany.
Tasting Notes
Regent, once the only relevant first-generation Piwi grape variety, has lost momentum in recent years. Often under-complex as a red wine, the rosés can certainly please. And the Rattey rosé is no exception. Medium salmon pink in the glass, fine strawberry notes on the nose. On the palate, the light carbonic acid provides the fresh appeal, the strawberry is joined by herbal notes - German harmony.
