The white wine »vogelfrei Welzenstein« Riesling trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Siegloch has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
This has a classic mash fermentation note, there are aromas of malt, with shrivelled Orange Pippin apple, and some sage. It has a full-bodied palate, with a rich body and full fruit flavours, and subtle phenolic nuances. The acidity is integrated and is persistent. Fruit is not the issue here - but it does not have to be.
